£31,365 - £37,890 per annum pro rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 6 midwife to join our team within the Antenatal Clinic at Northern Devon Healthcare Trust. The role is 37.5 hours a week and is on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will be motivated, passionate and dedicated to providing high quality women-centred care.

Your experience and organisational skills will ensure that you provide a high standard of care to our mothers and their families. As a member of our team you will be professional, reliable, safe and compassionate and have excellent communication skills.

A key responsibility will be working alongside the Antenatal and Newborn Screening Coordinator and you will deputise in their absence with the appropriate support and training.

You will work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team in an environment that is open and supportive. You will also be actively engaged with the development and implementation of the plans of care to ensure our women experience a smooth journey through our service.

Our teams of care professionals work with patients and their families to support peoples’ independence, health and wellbeing. We provide support to avoid hospital admissions, and if an admission is necessary, we try to make each patient’s stay in hospital as short and effective as possible before working with them on a safe discharge home.
