Children’s Continence Service
Band 5 Children’s Continence Staff Nurse
37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Based at Leatherhead Hospital
Access to car to be able to travel Surrey-wide
Are you interested in working with children and families throughout Surrey?
Do you have a passion for ensuring children’s continence needs are met?
This is an exciting, newly established opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic team player to develop expertise in the evolving Children’s Continence Service. We are a small team of 3 who are keen to support the development of our staff; ensuring training opportunities are available with options for progression within the organisation.
As a staff nurse you will be responsible for providing a holistic approach, following devised care plans relevant to the child’s specific needs.
Your role will involve:
Treating children across the county who present with day/night enuresis, faecal incontinence, chronic constipation and impaction
Providing children and families with toilet training advice
Completing continence assessments
Providing care within the community including home visits and clinics
