Job Title: Paramedic PCN / General Practice

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

Salary: £35k - £43K WTE (depending on experience and additional skills)

Hours: Full time (Part Time considered)

This is an exciting time for General Practice. All practices within the county have come together to work in Primary Care Networks (PCNs). These are groups of GP practices working in partnership to support their local population.

A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen within the Bicester PCN covering Alchester Medical Group, Bicester Health Centre and Montgomery House surgeri for a committed, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the team.

As a Paramedic in General Practice you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team across practices in the PCN. The post holder will provide a high-quality, cost-effective service to the patients of the Bicester PCN; diagnosing / prescribing treatments while working within defined procedures and protocols as laid down by the GPs.

Typical patients will present with a wide range of minor illness and chronic disease management needs, the post holder will be responsible for seeing patients in the practice and occasionally visiting patients in their home environment.

The successful candidate will be a registered Paramedic with a relevant degree-Educated to BSc, post-graduate Cert or Diploma level and would have had a minimum of three years post registration with demonstrable experience of using diagnostic skills.
