The Inclusion Directorate with Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation provides Integrated Mental Health and Psychosocial teams into 10 prisons across Staffordshire and Worcestershire.
Successful in its endeavors, Inclusion has grown to both substance misuse and mental health services in the community, residential and prisons. Employing over 500 staff, including Psychiatrists, Counsellors, Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, Drug & Alcohol Recovery Workers, Peer Mentors and Volunteers. We provide services to in excess of 19,000 services users per annum across the Home Counties, Midlands, East of England up to the North of England.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide administration support to the integrated mental health and substance misuse team at HMP Stocken
You will be the single point of contact for the integrated team responding to service queries in person and over the phone and dealing with service user and partner agency inquiries.
You will be mainly be responsible for
Daily management of referrals into service – registering incoming referrals onto the system and following the relevant pathway with the Duty professional
Dealing efficiently with the department’s incoming enquiries; prioritising and communicating these to clinicians.
Coordinating clinics using the clinical IT system, sending appointment information to service users
Liaising with community and prison based services, GPs, Community Teams, Primary Care, Probation, Prison Staff, and Secure Hospitals among others.
Minute monthly business meetings, weekly multi-disciplinary meetings and the daily clinical meeting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organisational, proven administration and IT skills are essential for this role as well as an adaptable, flexible approach to work and be able to work well within a team as well as being able to use own initiative.
