We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our Urology & Neurosciences Unit based at our main hospital site in London, with a salary range on offer of £34,024 - £40,890. Job Description

To be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and service to the patients.

  • Job Type: This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours perweek (Days, nights and weekends.)
  • Benefits package: We offer a comprehensive package including a contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%), Private Medical Healthcare, 33days annual leave (inclusive), as well as a wide range of other benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To maintain accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care within the framework of nursing incorporating the nurse initiative.
  • To coordinate the patients’ discharge arrangements in accordance with the London Clinic discharge policy.
  • To promote a patient focused approach to care in collaboration with all relevant health professionals.
  • To educate patients and their carers as required where a need has been identified.

Skills & Experience

  • NMC Registered general nurse
  • At least 12 months post registration experience
  • Post Registration in Urology, Nephrology or Neuroscience Nursing Course preferred
  • Cannulation and Venepuncture, Tracheostomy Care, Male Catheterization
