Medical Electronics is a busy department responsible for maintaining medical equipment throughout Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and across the County of Somerset.

The department provides a comprehensive service carrying out the routine calibration, maintenance, repair and management of the Trust's Medical Equipment.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated technical Workshop Manager to join our team, this role is part of succession planning as the current post holder will be retiring .

The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 08.30am - 05.00pm, with inclusion on the department’s On-Call rota following appropriate assessment.

The post holder will be responsible and lead the Medical Electronics team.

You will be educated to HNC/Degree in Medical Electronics/Engineering with knowledge and practical experience of servicing complex medical devices.  The ideal candidate will also have significant experience of managing a team.
