North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group is responsible for commissioning high quality health and adult social care services for a population of approximately 170,000. We work closely with providers of health services, local government, regulatory bodies, voluntary and carer groups, patient representatives and the general public to achieve the best health and care outcomes possible and to ensure high quality, safe and effective services.

NELCCG welcomes applications from all parts of the community and particularly from applicants with a BME background.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed professional to work as part of our team providing comprehensive, specialist communications and engagement support.

The post is 4 days (30 hours per week)

There are a number of priority areas of work that the post holder will focus on during this fixed term maternity cover which include but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with the Humber Acute Services review PMO to support engagement and communication activity as the review gathers pace
  • Social media activity planning and scheduling
  • Media releases and website content relating to engagement
  • Assisting with general media enquiries
  • Major work to update content on the CCG and Accord websites to ensure compliance with accessibility legislation
  • Supporting the delivery of the Union Engagement Strategy action plan and priorities, specifically work to develop an Engagement Toolkit and Stakeholder communication and engagement analysis
  • Supporting the development of a Union Equality Scheme, equality objectives and monitoring

Working autonomously, the post-holder should also possess initiative to identify, prioritise and manage the issues that arise in an extremely busy and highly visible team with an element of unpredictability in the daily workload – troubleshooting where possible and seeking support/advice from a senior team member when necessary.

There is a requirement for the post-holder to be well-organised with an aptitude for managing processes and systems as this will be a key contribution to the success of the team.
