We are recruiting for a permanent Band 2 Customer Service Assistant & Administrator to support the MindMate SPA team. This is a part-time post and hours would need to be worked Monday - Friday. Once fully trained the role will be split between office and home working.

Leeds MindMate Single Point of Access is a Leeds Community Healthcare hosted service that receives referrals for school age children and young people, who need support with their emotional wellbeing or mental health. We receive referrals from professionals by email and phone, and allocate them to the most appropriate service. We also accept self-referrals from families and young people. The team comprises of administrative staff, and clinicians from services such as The Market Place and CAMHS.

The role will require the ability to work in a busy fast paced environment as part of a small administration team. Previous experience of administration process is essential.

We work across 4 databases (Mosaic, CareNotes, Systm1 and Synergy), Excellent IT skills are essential with the ability to navigate across multiple systems and accurately transcribe information between them. You will also be required to produce patient letters inputting information from clinicians into a template and ensuring letters meet required standards.

English and Maths GCSE level or equivalent qualification is essential. RSA Level 2 in IT or demonstration of equivalent experience/skill is also essential. Experience of working in a NHS environment would also be an advantage.

The applicant will be required to take telephone calls at busy times and therefore a confident telephone manner is required.

Leeds MindMate SPA is based in Leeds City Centre at Merrion House with state-of-the-art facilities and easy access to public transport. Please be aware that we are unable to provide parking.

If you are successful in being offered a position which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The level of check required is dependent upon the position that you have applied for. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost from your salary. There will be no charge if you are enrolled in the DBS Update Service.
