We now have an opening for a Lead Assistant Technical Officer to join our PhysMed team in London, covering our diagnostic centres in Ealing, Enfield, Golders Green and Stratford. This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week on a rota shift pattern basis from Monday to Sunday. There may be occasional travel to other sites - all travel expenses will be covered by InHealth.

What is the overall purpose of the role?

To lead and support the Physiological Measurement service in the delivery of Resting ECG, Ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring.

What are the key responsibilities?

• Prepare patients for and perform resting ECGs in accordance with AHA specifications and recommendations
• Fit and remove ambulatory ECG and BP monitors, giving the patient clear instructions and advice relating to the period of monitoring
• Lead, motivate and manage the performance of clinical staff through the sharing of knowledge and clinical expertise, managing absence and productivity
• Monitor adherence and compliance to all operational procedures and policies as outlined by the Company, escalating any concerns to the Regional Operations Manager
• Demonstrate active involvement in the recruitment, appointment and induction of new staff
• Conduct appraisals gaining feedback from other relevant members of staff
• Manage the rota for the ATO team to ensure effective and cost-efficient service delivery

What will you need in order to apply?

• Previous experience of working as an ATO or Cardiographer
• Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
• Leadership qualities and ability to manage a busy workload
• The ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations
• Demonstratable teaching and coaching skills
