An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and resilient individual to join the Integrated Medicine Directorate Team in the Cardiff and Vale University Health board.

 

The post holder will be responsible for the collection and entry of identified stroke patient care data in line with national SNAPP standards. This will involve interpreting information from patients’ medical records, electronic data and patient management systems and liaising with a number of professionals to obtain and record accurate clinical audit information.

 

The Purpose of the role to ensure that patient information is accurately recorded and entered into the national SSNAP database in a timely manner in accordance with departmental audit standards. The post holder must liaise with appropriate members of the stroke multidisciplinary team to ensure audit information is complete. The post holder will support the SSNAP Audit Coordinator and the Directorate management team in providing this data for key monthly data submissions and performance reports so that Cardiff and Vale University Health Board’s stroke service performance is accurately represented.

 

Suitable candidates will have good interpersonal and organisational skills as well as high Competency in all Microsoft Office applications.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
