Role: Clinical GP Lead - Community Gynaecology Service - Oxfordshire

Salary: WTE £85,000 Plus, Dependant on experience (pro-rata for part time)

Hours: Three sessions per week

Base: PML Central Office, Bicester with occasional travel to other locations in Oxfordshire

Following the success of our pilot in North, North East and Central Oxfordshire, we are looking to appoint a motivated and experienced General Practitioner with specialist gynaecological skills to provide clinical oversight to Oxfordshire’s new Community Gynaecology Service (CGS) based in Primary Care.

The successful candidate will be a confident professional used to working across organisational boundaries, with the experience and ability to provide clinical leadership across the service. Successful applicants will be focussed on delivering excellent patient care, improving pathways/outcomes for patients and supporting the development of both the service and those working within it.

You will be an excellent communicator, with a visible dynamic leadership style and promote a high quality standards of care.

The primary purpose of the CGS is to improve access to gynaecological services for patients in Oxfordshire and offer care closer to home. As our Clinical Lead, you will develop and maintain a high quality effective service working with and supporting GPs with special interests in gynaecological care.

It is essential that the post holder has full GMC Registration, MBChB or equivalent and knowledge / practical expertise in women’s health.
