Oxford Road campus forms part of the larger Trust which is one of the biggest, most ambitious and progressive NHS Trusts in the country. MFT is responsible for running a family of ten hospitals across seven separate sites, providing a wide range of services from comprehensive local general hospital care through to highly specialised regional and national services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a self-motivated and committed individual to join our growing pharmacy team. We are looking to employ a highly motivated, efficient Administration Officer with demonstrable time management and organisational skills to provide a wide range of support to the division. You will be required to deal with a variety of administrative duties, including processing payroll, organising meetings, minute taking, reception duties, project support and a range of ad hoc duties. You will ensure efficient use of time by being the first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisation, screening phone calls, enquiries and requests (and handling them as appropriate), meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority, organising calendars, together with producing documents and reports, collating and presenting data.

You must have proficient IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and have excellent numeracy and literacy skills, being educated to A’ level or have the demonstrable required knowledge and experience.

You will have a proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering excellent administrative support day to day to all members of the Pharmacy Department and key members of the Operational Management Team.

With excellent communication skills, attention to detail and experience of working in a busy environment you will be an asset to our department.

Primarily based at the Oxford Road Campus this role will require you to work 37.5 hours over 5 days, working between 8am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday; a degree of flexibility is required in your approach to working hours and cross site working, when necessary.
