An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Nurse or Midwife Sonographer to work within the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) team across Doncaster and Bassetlaw. A high standard of individualised patient care is provided by the current efficient and friendly team of nurses, sonographers and health care support workers.

The EPAU is a nurse-led service which is supported by the Gynaecology Department and overseen by a specialist consultant. We see pregnant women from 6 weeks up to 16 weeks who are experiencing bleeding and /or pain.

We are looking for a dynamic and caring professional who is passionate about women’s health, providing the highest standard of care to give the patients the most positive and supported experience possible, showing empathy to the women whilst maintaining patient dignity at all times.

The role is varied and teamwork is key, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. The successful applicant should have an interest in Women's Health and be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical knowledge.

This post is for a qualified Nurse or Midwife sonographer.
