Locum Consultant Radiologist in MSK Radiology

We also provide a series of highly specialist cardiac, liver and neurosurgery services to patients from across the UK. 

The Imaging Department provides a comprehensive service accepting both regional and supra-regional diagnostic and interventional referrals to a wide range of clinical specialties. The 81 existing Consultant Radiologist team have well established links into all of the specialty and sub specialty clinical teams across the Trust, including access to the Trusts research and audit teams as appropriate including supporting a large number of clinical trials. The Department also provides imaging support for the Royal Centre Defence Medicine and is a Level 1 Major Trauma Centre.

Applications are invited for a whole time 1 year Locum Consultant Radiologist in MSK Radiology. This is a unique opportunity to join the MSK imaging team which provides a wide ranging, multi-modality service including plain film reporting, US, CT, MRI and fluoroscopy for both diagnostic and interventional radiology; with support for regular clinical- radiological meetings. The post will include both acute and non-acute imaging, in both MSK and general radiology, and a relatively small on call commitment (trauma and general body imaging). There will be opportunity for cross site working if need arises.

There will be an on-call commitment to this post. Applicants must be on or eligible for GMC specialist register for Radiology within 6 months of the interview date.
