An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual who wishes to join our fast-paced team within the Radiology Department at the University Hospital Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful applicant will work closely alongside the Radiology IT Systems Manager and be based at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. They will also encounter a range of clinical, clerical, and technical staff across the whole of the organisation and the wider NHS.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): the electronic transfer of radiology data between other UK hospitals; maintaining data quality of multiple IT systems; setting up accounts and supporting others to use Radiology specific software; acquiring statistical information; troubleshooting basic IT problems and logging faults accordingly.
This role would suit a good communicator with proven email and telephone etiquette. The successful applicant will gain a unique insight into the patient pathway and offer an opportunity develop their IT skills within a busy healthcare environment.
IT skills and previous experience of working within a hospital environment would be an asset but is not essential because training and support will be provided in-house.
Hours are 37.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly between 7.45am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
