This is an opportunity for a GP who has a special interest in working with patients with a learning disability, to work within SBUHB LD services for one session per week. The post holder will be on the GMC Gp register and have experience of working with complex health issues. The post holder should have evidence of their increased knowledge and understanding of working with both the physical and psychiatric comorbidities seen in this patient group. The successful postholder will work with in patients, outpatient and community learning disability team undertaking both psychiatric and physical assessment and management of patient with learning disabilities.
