Speciality doctor in forensics and sexual offences (children and young people)

 

 

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to take on the role of Speciality doctor in forensics and sexual offences (children and young people) at the Bridge Sexual Assault Referral Centre and Paediatric Centre of Excellence located in Bristol.

 

The Bridge SARC looks after children and young people of all ages who have experienced sexual abuse in geographical regions of Avon and Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire as well as adults complainants of rape and sexual assault in the area covered by the Avon & Somerset Police.

Please note medical staff provision for the adult service within the SARC is currently contracted to an alternate provider.

 

We are looking for an innovative and dynamic experienced forensic doctor to join this service. This role is 0.25 wte, equivalent to 10 hours a week (which can be worked flexibly) to include one session out of hours a month (Saturday/Sunday/Bank holidays).

 

They will be supported by the divisional manager, SARC manager and work closely with the Clinical lead for the paediatric service and the Clinical Director for the adult service
