We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapist who is a highly motivated team player.  The successful applicants will be working autonomously in the Therapy Services Outpatient Departments, which includes locality clinics across the Rotherham Borough, Rotherham Hospital, The Park Rehabilitation Centre and The Rotherham Community Health Centre. The MSK Team offer extended working hours within the outpatient departments, which includes weekday evenings.

This role involves the management of a varied caseload of musculoskeletal outpatients including spinal and peripheral pathologies. You must have gained a broad range of postgraduate experience, including recent work within the Musculoskeletal / Orthopaedic specialities and show passion in the pursuit of service excellence and delivery of a positive patient experience.

We have a strong commitment to supervision; continued personal development is encouraged and fully supported within the team.  You will be expected to have an active role in the provision of supervision and peer support for Physiotherapists, Therapy support staff and Physiotherapy students.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Current HCPC registration
  • Valid work permit or be eligible to work within the UK

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.

New starters to the NHS will start at the bottom of the advertised salary band.
