Specialist Surgery Department at the John Radcliffe Hospital is looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join their Senior Management Team.

We are looking for a self-motivated, organised and proactive individual to join the department in ensuring that the Trust's elective access targets are adhered to and executed to the highest standards. This post in crucial in the on-going development of the service and would suit a candidate who has an interest in and an aptitude for ensuring that systems are in pace to achieve the delivery of the Trust's 18-week and cancer targets.

The post h older will manage a dynamic team and should be a good team player who enjoys finding creative solutions to complex problems. The successful candidate will have good general level of education and be able to deal with a busy environment, manage their own workload, work to tight deadlines and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
