NURSING ASSOCIATE

BAND 4

32 HOURS PER WEEK

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated individual? Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? If you answered yes to these questions then we may have the position for you!

 

 

We are looking to recruit a band 4 Nursing Associate to work 30 hours per week, within our busy Neighbourhood Team, where you will be based in a beautiful location at the foot of the Malvern Hills.

In this role you will be supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, whilst providing support to a dedicated support team. You will be responsible for the delivery of care to the patients on the caseload,  across a broad spectrum of clinical conditions, whilst also considering the holistic needs of the patients. You will work collaboratively with the integrated team members and you will have excellent communication skills as you will also work closely with other professionals, outside agencies and family.

 

The post holder is required to hold a full driving licence and have use of a vehicle in order to work in a variety of settings. You may be asked at times to cover other areas within the community care service delivery unit.

Applicant Requirements - Applicants must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.

Probationary Period - All new appointments are subject to 6 months’ probation period.

Priority of Applicants - Please note that applications are welcomed from all suitably qualified/experienced individuals. However prior consideration will be given to applications from individuals who are ‘at risk’ and employed by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. If an appointment is made from that at risk group, the post will be withdrawn.

Preceptorship for Newly Qualified Staff - The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.


Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.


Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
