Our new vacancy for an HR Assistant is the perfect opportunity to work in a dynamic Human Resources department.

The Human Resources team support and advise employees across the hospital on HR policies and procedures, we are a busy department with lots of visitors and so no two days are the same. You therefore need to be confident in meeting new people, answering telephones and passionate about helping people.

The role will involve working as part of the Human Resources Helpdesk team but you will work with everyone in the HR and recruitment teams and be responsible for undertaking a variety of tasks including filing and administration, using our electronic systems and providing first line advice to people who come to the department and on the phone.

One of the key roles will be working as part of the team to run our centralised absence reporting line which includes advising national and Trust advice on CoVid-19 symptoms, isolation and symptoms, reporting absences and booking CoVid-19 tests for our staff.

We are therefore looking for candidates with experience of working in an HR department in a similar role, particularly those who can demonstrate a passion for customer service, the ability to meet deadlines and work as an effective team player.

You will receive on the job training and ongoing support in a range of human resources and administrative processes, IT and customer service standards to enable you to develop in your HR career.

We are looking for someone full or part time and will include some weekend working.
