We are looking for 2 consultants in endocrine and diabetic medicine to join our team at Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust (NDHT). Applications for part-time positions are also welcome.

We are an innovative trust and use cutting-edge technology to make things happen quickly enabling you to make a real difference in your speciality. The Trust has a very strong non-medical model for diabetes which led to a very favourable GIRFT report. This forms part of the multi-disciplinary team that will support you to work at the top of your
registration. Currently the Endocrinology service is led by our close partners, the
Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E).

Successful candidates will be given a high degree of autonomy and opportunities to
develop the service with one post taking the leadership of our Integrated Diabetes project (recently recognised in the HSJ awards for innovation). There will be time to undertake supporting professional activities including training and teaching or to pursue sub-speciality interests either in North Devon or via our close partnership with the RD&E in Exeter. Cross-site working is also available between NDHT and RD&E.
