We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Trust as a Ward Clerk on Ward 25 within the Cancer Centre; we are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team. You will work within this dedicated team to support ward staff and ward working in an administration and clerical capacity to ensure the environment is safe and effective.

You should have experience of working as a Ward Clerk or in a customer focused environment, and have knowledge of customer care. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a desire to provide a first class service for patients and clinical teams.

This rapidly expanding modern and busy Cancer Centre offers many training opportunities for their staff, recent developments have led to investment and ongoing development plans for a large cancer centre onsite .This developing service is supported by a forward thinking & supportive Management Team, Nurse Practitioners, Palliative Care Team & Macmillan Information and Support Centre.

We firmly believe in holistic care, complementary therapy, clinical psychology and Citizen Advice Bureau all have clinics in the unit. We also offer carers and patient support groups.




Please note that this post is subject to an initial probationary period of six months, extendable up to a period of 12 months (excluding all Doctors and Dentists on national contracts). A DBS check may be required for new employees.
