An exciting opportunity has arisen within Leeds Community CAMHS, Leeds Community Healthcare Trust for an enthusiastic Art Psychotherapist/ Creative Therapist (Band 7 Afc) 0.7wte. The successful candidate will be passionate about working collaboratively with children, their families and with partner agencies, to promote the best possible outcomes for children and families in Leeds. The successful candidate will offer specialist assessments, consultations and interventions to children and adolescents, their families and groups, as part of the Leeds CAMHS Emotional Disorders Pathway citywide service. They will work alongside other specialist clinicians like Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist, Group Analyst and Generic Practitioners to plan, and deliver a citywide Art Psychotherapy programme including assessments, one to one and group therapy.
A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience is required.
Due to the global pandemic, Leeds Community Healthcare now routinely provides therapeutic interventions and appointments via digital platforms, as well as face to face. As such, a flexible approach is required.
Leeds is a vibrant, ethnically culturally and socio-economically, diverse city. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate how they routinely address these issues in their work.
