John Ray Ward is a 28 bedded Trauma and Elective Orthopaedic ward looking to recruit a ward administrator to join their friendly and establishd team.

Applicant's need to be computer literate and have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working. Knowledge of administration within the NHS is beneficial although not essential as training will be given.

The ward administrator works closely with the nursing and medical teams to ensure the patient and families needs are met. The ward administrator will be required to use the hospitals electronic systems 'Lorenzo' & 'Teletracking', ensure patient medical notes are kept up to date, ensure that medical notes are made available for surgery the following day, assist with data entry, filing, general ordering of stock and stationery and liasing with patients and their relatives acting as the first point of contact for patients and their relatives on the ward.
