Nottingham University Hospitals and team trauma are excited to recruit highly motivated Registered Nursing Associates that have completed their trainee Nursing Associate course.
If you want to be part of an exciting and dynamic team, then team trauma is the place for you. Team trauma comprises of three wards, working alongside one another and sharing best practice. We are currently in the process of some exciting changes which you would be a part of, should you decide to join our team.
We are a fast paced ward, accepting our patients from ED. As NUH is a national trauma centre we experience transfers of people from other hospitals, with complex injuries, to our ward. We thrive on team work and best practice.
Being new to our team you can expect to have a period of preceptorship, with the opportunity to work alongside our Trauma coordinators, Nurse practitioners, ANP, visits to theatre. You will also have the opportunity to work with and have support from, our dedicated clinical educator. You will gain knowledge around orthopaedic nursing and the tools required to care for our trauma and orthopaedic patients.
