We have an exciting opportunity on Thurne Ward at Hellesdon Hospital in Norwich where a position has arisen for a Ward Adminsitrator. Thurne is a 15 bedded mixed gender ward which his the acute admission and assessment ward.

NSFT provides child and adult mental health services, alcohol treatment, learning disability support, wellbeing and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

We are looking for Ward Administrators who are well organised, motivated and have good communication skills, to join the team on Thurne Ward.

This is an exciting opportunity for Administrators with an interest in the wellbeing of our patients and who have the passion to provide strong administration support, essential for the successful and efficient operation of the ward.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.


Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
