An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Back Care Advisor/Moving and Handling Practitioner to work with our established and well respected Back Care Advisory Service Team.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated person to support the education and professional development of clinical and non-clinical staff across CDDFT. Acting as a positive role model in promoting best practice offering professional advice on the subject of manual handling. Working with clinical teams across a wide range of specialties to deliver manual handling training that is of a high standard and aligned to national guidance and work with the Trust Staff Health and Wellbeing strategy of reducing WRMSD’s (Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorders).

The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering manual handling training   and have sound clinical knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and have experience of working within a patient care environment and experience working with a multidisciplinary team.

This role is not just isolated to providing training as the successful candidate will be aligned to other duties such as accident/Incident investigation, audits, staff referrals for MSK issues.

 You will be joining a professional, friendly and supportive team who will be delighted to have you working alongside them.

The Trust operates out of multiple sites and covers  3 Acute Hospital sites and 5 community hospital sites, it is therefore essential that applicants have a current driving license as you would be required to travel within the role.
