At present the laboratory is in the second phase of refurbishment, offering the opportunity to work in a newly furnished and spatially improved environment with added features in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.

Our fantastic team consists of 3 maxillofacial prosthetists, 1 specialist restorative technologist, 2 dental technologists and a laboratory assistant. The team is well established; together, with our many years of experience, amongst numerous specialities we are an exceptional team.

We are looking for you to come and join our team of professionals, who are at the heart of delivering the highest quality service to all our patients. Come and join our exceptional work family.

We deliver services to the specialities of Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Occupational Therapy, Ophthalmology, Neurosurgery, Breast Care, Special Care Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery.

As a speciality we attend the Multi-disciplinary meeting on a weekly basis. We are looking to expand our 3D printing services in addition to introducing others such as model scanning, crown & bridge, and metalwork.

We would welcome both experienced and newly qualified staff who would describe themselves as dynamic, hard working, forward thinking and a team player.The role can be demanding at times, but you will be supported and encouraged to reach your full potential with the necessary guidance and professional development.

If you are successful in obtaining a position with our Trust which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Check. As a registered body with the DBS, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will conduct the administration of this application on your behalf and the cost will be recovered from your salary, either as a one-off payment or over 3 months. Currently the charges made by the Disclosure and Barring Service are - Standard DBS check £30.20 and Enhanced DBS check £48.20. The level of check required depends on the role that you have been offered.

Please note if you are successful in obtaining a position that requires a DBS check but later withdrawn your application you maybe required to reimburse Lancashire Teaching Hospitals the cost of the DBS.

Please note if you are applying for a volunteer position then the DBS check is free of charge.
