An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Ward Clerk to join our team on the Coronary Care Unit at the Bristol Heart Institute, on a part-time basis.

We are seeking a reliable and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills. This post is suitable for someone wishing to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team providing indirect patient care. There will be considerable communication with patients, families and clinical staff within the ward environment. You must be able to be polite, respectful and helpful at all times, and effectively deal with a diverse range of people in a sensitive and confidential manner.

The successful post holder will provide an efficient and effective administration service to the ward team and contribute to the delivery of a consistently high standard of patient care. They will be expected to organise and prioritise their own workload. Good IT and organisational skills are required. Experience in administrative duties is an advantage. Previous ward clerk experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

This post is offered on a part time basis of 15 hours per week, as part of a job share, working on a Thursday and Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm.
