An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new or experienced Band 6 physiotherapist and/or Osteopath to join our musculoskeletal outpatient team.

The successful candidate will be based at either The Princess Royal Musculoskeletal Outpatient Team or at one or more of our BSUH Musculoskeletal Outpatient sites within Brighton & Hove or ‘rotational’ across the service. There are opportunities to gain experience in:

  • Virtual Clinic
  • Lower limb rehabilitation
  • Back Reconditioning Classes
  • Back In Control
  • Hydrotherapy

In additional to the clinical aspect of the job there is a requirement to develop management skills, teach and supervise junior staff, assistants and students.

The post would include participation in the Orthopaedic Weekend Rota – following completion of appropriate training (Qualified Physiotherapist only, this does not apply to Osteopaths).

The departments offer a supportive learning environment with the opportunity to work closely with Advanced Practitioners who specialise in back, shoulder and lower limb conditionsand in the future First Contact Practitioners. The service is committed to professional development and post graduate education facilitated through an established appraisal, mentoring scheme and in-service training programme.
