Want to play your part in transforming healthcare in Dorset? We are looking for someone to support Dorset CCG's IM&T function within the System Integration directorate. This is a full time, permanent post based at Vespasian House, Dorchester, with the ability to work from home. The successful candidate will maintain the ICT asset register, from point of order through to disposal, and help with the recording and escalation of ICT incidents for the Service Desk team. They will also support the IM&T team with administration and logistics in delivering change programmes for healthcare in Dorset.

We are looking for someone with experience in ICT hardware and software purchasing and the processing and monitoring of payments. Previous exposure to NHS Shared Business Services/ISFE and any asset or inventory management system would be advantageous. You should ideally have experience of telephone call logging and any service desk or incident management exposure would be preferable, however this is not essential as a full induction programme with ongoing training and support will be provided. Administrative support via diary management, event scheduling and general day to day admin will also be required. The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines is essential.

The IM&T team provides, manages and supports core IT services to the CCG and Dorset's GP Practices. It is comprised of Digital Support: Development and IT Training, an Infrastructure team, managing networking, systems, server and storage and a Service Desk function that delivers all incident management, request fulfillment and customer interaction. The team is located across both of the CCG's offices in Dorchester and Poole but is conducting nearly all of its activitiy remotely at this time. In addition to existing project workloads, the CCG IM&T team is currenlty supporting remote working for CCG staff enabling continuation of collaboration across the Dorset Health and Social Care arena.
