THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 1 YEAR DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated individual to join Central Team eBusiness Services, which is a small specialist team, supporting all health boards/trusts and hosted organisations in Wales on a range of national projects. As part of the busy department, you will be responsible for taking forward a range of strategic NHS Wales Projects, including technical projects such as upgrades. You will be responsible for managing team members and also supporting leads in each of the health boards/trusts in Wales. You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience and have a background working in a structured and disciplined department, delivering services and support based on industry good practices. You must be proficient in the use of project management techniques and processes in the delivery of projects. Excellent presentation and communication skills are needed to present data and information in a clear, understandable manner both verbally and in written form. A strong commitment to achieving individual results and the goals of the team is important. You will be expected to provide evidence in your application to confirm that you meet all of the essential criteria's for the position. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. All candidates will be expected to undertake an aptitude test and presentation based on a case study. Please ensure you set out how you meet the essential criteria in the application form. This is a 1 year Fixed Term post, due to an internal secondment.
