The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is an integrated acute and community services provider organisation with a turnover in excess of £270M. The Finance Directorate has a key role to play in the overall performance of the Trust and following the external promotion of the current post holder, an opportunity has now arisen for a highly motivated, technically competent individual to take on the role of Finance Manager. The post holder will provide financial advice and support in relation to patient income and centrally held Education and Training contracts which amount to circa £251.3m.

The successful applicant will be part of the central Financial Management Team and report to the Senior Finance Manager who will provide leadership and direct line management support. As a part qualified CCAB accountant, this post provides an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to gain a thorough understanding of NHS finance within a foundation trust and be able to contribute to the success of both the Department and the organisation.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.
