About the team:
AID-IIT is a new and exciting national and specialist CAMHS outpatient service being developed to serve London. This service works closely/in collaboration with the Service for Complex Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (SCAAND). AID-IIT aims to reduce or prevent where possible inpatient CAMHS admissions for children and young people with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism and to support these young people to continue to live within the community. The post holder will be part of a multi-disciplinary team including Clinical Psychologists, Consultant Psychiatrist, Assistant Psychologists, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist (also linked to Guys and St Thomas’s NHS Trust), Specialist Teacher (also linked to the National Autistic Society), Positive Behavioural Support workers, Social worker, Project Manager and Admin support.
The post is based at the Michael Rutter Centre which facilitates close working and support for the postholder with other staff across National and Specialist CAMHS.

The Michael Rutter Centre is based on the Maudsley site. Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2). We also provide services and operate across other locations, such as London boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; and substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Lambeth, Greenwich and Wandsworth.
