NeonatalSister Band 6

37.5 & 34.5 Hours

Are you a dedicated, qualified in speciality neonatal nurse? Are you looking for a challenging role where you can make a difference? Then we want you to join our exceptional team here at Warrington and Halton NHS teaching hospital where we provide medical care for babies from 28 weeks gestation and sick newborn infants.

We are part of the Cheshire and Merseyside Network. We accept referrals from all networks as our location close to the M6, M56, M62 makes us ideally situated for this.

We have 18 cots, 3 ITU, 3HDU and 12 special care cots located in 2 rooms. We are looking at expanding our service to include transitional care cots based on the post natal ward in order to reduce term admissions and separation of mothers and babies.

The Band 6 Sisters role requires a passionate, highly motivated and experienced senior neonatal nurse with excellent communication skills who considers themselves first and always the babies advocate. We expect you to continue to develop your clinical and leadership skills. You will demonstrate safe critical decision making skills and support junior staff whilst working collaboratively with the multi disciplinary team to meet the needs of premature and sick newborn babies.

We have a good in house training program and we are dedicated to continually developing the knowledge and skill of our nurses. You will have the opportunity to work and learn in a child focused environment. We will offer you the support of a committed team to advance your skills with access to development opportunities both internally and with our excellent links to local universities.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
