Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in working with complex cases (including complex trauma and dual diagnosis)? Do you have an interest in developing the skills of other professionals within a prison mental health servi8ce? This is an exciting opportunity to join our teams in delivering first class mental health and substance misuse interventions within prisons across West Yorkshire.

the post will work alongside the existing postholder to cover HMPs New Hall, Wealstun, Leeds, Wakefiled and Askham Grange. The post may be filled by either full-time or part-time applicants.

We are looking for a HCPC registered practitioner psychologist (clinical, forensic or counselling) with at least 3 years post-qualification experience and ideally some experience of criminal justice and mental health services. You will have experience of delivering psychological assessments and interventions for mental health and substance misuse. You will enjoy working independently and have the skills to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues, prison staff, commissioners and service users.

You will be joining the supportive inclusion psychology team who meet regularly to explore issues and collaborate on research or development projects. We will support you to access regular clinical supervision and appropriate professional development.

We deliver a range of both criminal justice and community based Forensic Mental Health, Substance Misuse and IPAT Services.
