We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting and challenging opportunity to become part of our compassionate, dedicated and patient centered Senior Nursing Team based within the Mental Health and Learning Disability Division.

We are looking for an individual to fulfil the role of Head of Nursing. The successful candidate will be passionate about leading the team to deliver safe, effective clinical care to patients thus making a positive difference to the patient’s experience. As Head of Nursing, you will ensure that all services are delivered in line with agreed performance, financial and governance objectives whilst ensuring the workforce are professionally led and managed in order to develop a highly motivated and empowered team.

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate strong nursing management skills with a positive “can do” attitude, be a clinical expert and will possess an in-depth understanding of service functionality and improvement. They will be able to demonstrate an absolute passion for excellence in patient care, be an inspirational leader with high level of clinical credibility. Candidates will have a proven track record of change management, improvements to quality and safety and demonstrate excellent leadership skills to take the nursing teams forward. Also, the ability to identify and work collaboratively with wide range of stakeholders.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
