An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 clinical sister to join our nursing team. This is a full time position requiring adaptability and flexibility to meet all aspects of the role.

As a Band 6 Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse you will be a key member of staff in shaping the vision and be a strong advocate for patients, ensuring they receive high quality care as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary Frailty Team. In addition you will possess excellent motivational and communication skills to lead and inspire the rest of the team.

The Team is truly multi-professional, we currently have Consultant Practitioners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Trainee Nurses Associates and Admiral Specialist nurses. The team operates from three bases, each base has an established group of staff to provide continuity to our patients.

Care of the Elderly & Stroke – Victoria Ward

Victoria Ward is a 21 bedded combined specialty ward encompassing stroke, respiratory and care of the elderly. We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our team, providing excellent leadership and high quality nursing care within these specialties.

Frailty – Nicholas Ward

Recently moved to be collocated and, covering two wards, the frailty unit is and energetic and caring environment with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team. Working collaboratively the wards aim to improve holistic patient care and work towards clinical excellence at all times. Combined with the assessment ward, the frailty unit aim to improve and individualise care with new pathways and patient focussed working.
