South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw’s Integrated Care System’s (SYB ICS) journey to becoming one of the first and most advanced Integrated Care Systems (ICS) in the country has been one of steady progress, solid performance and strong delivery. SYB ICS has built on its excellent foundation of working together and are now delivering tangible improvements for our population.

SYB ICS have been working as a partnership for over three years and throughout this time, our vision has remained the same: For everyone in South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw to have the best possible start in life, with support to be healthy and live well, for longer.

SYB ICS are in a transition year in 2020 as we start to have more responsibilities for our health system, including strategic planning and increasing collective accountability for health performance and finance.
We published our first strategic plan in 2016 and have spent much of 2019 engaging with the public, patients, staff and partners on what they want to see happen next. Our 2020-2015 Plan builds on our work to date and focuses around four key ambitions:

1. Developing a population health system
2. Building a sustainable health and care system
3. Strengthening our foundations
4. Broadening and strengthening our partnerships to increase our opportunity

The SYB ICS is seeking an experienced and committed individual support all corporate committees in South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care System. This role will work as part of a dynamic team in supporting new ways of working at a system level.
You will need to be an enthusiastic individual with a flexible approach to this demanding role, and above all share our passion to provide the best possible health and care to local people across the SYB system.

The post holder will provide a professional and proactive function to the programme therefore enhancing the effectiveness of our organisational management.

This role may involve travel across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw. The successful candidate will work from home until the Executive Team deem it appropriate to work from 722 Prince of Wales Road, Sheffield, S9 4EU.
