Band 5 Therapy Radiographer.
We are seeking to recruit Band 5 Therapeutic Radiographers to join our friendly, committed team at Poole Hospital radiotherapy department, where we pride ourselves on our high standards to ensure a high quality experience to our patients, their carers and our staff.
Situated at Poole Hospital with a satellite centre in Dorset County Hospital, the radiotherapy department has a range of different modern techniques with a strong commitment to research and improvement. The department is a single vendor department and is currently updating its fleet of Linacs to Varian True Beams. This is an excellent opportunity for successful candidates to help shape the future of the department as it develops it's service. Candidates will be required to work at both sites.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to be part of our professional and friendly team, working on the treatment units, in CT planning, brachytherapy and our satellite department at Dorchester.
The service is committed to continuing professional development and all staff have a personal development plan that is reviewed annually. Staff are also actively encouraged to participate in further study.
Full time staff currently work their contracted hours over 4 days and are given a rolling day off each week with block rotations between the main and satellite unit.
Applicants must be educated to DCR(T) / BSc Hons or equivalent and be registered with the HCPC
