Full Time Hours - 37.5 Hours Per Week

Band 5 -£24,907 to £30,615 per annum/pro rota

Are you newly qualified or qualifying in the next year? If so we would love to hear from you.

We are looking to recruit highly motivated, newly qualified registered nurses to help us deliver high quality, safe and compassionate care in a variety of specialties.

We provide a supportive environment and work to develop all colleagues to achieve their full potential and as a newly qualified nurse you will join our preceptorship programme and will be supported at every step of the way.

We also offer the opportunity to join our one-year Compass rotation programme, to give you experience working in both Acute and Community settings, gaining experience in specialist areas whilst enhancing your clinical skills, knowledge and confidence.

If you are interested in the Compass programme please identify this on your application. We will be holding a virtual selection event in August, once your preferences have been established. Please be aware there is limited number of places on the Compass Programme.

You need to possess excellent communication skills, be committed to delivering high quality, safe patient centred care at all times.

All posts will include a commitment to work days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays where applicable to the service.

Substantive full and part time posts are available.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.

The Trust offers free car parking at the Woodside Building (Woodside Building, Moorgate Road, Rotherham, S60 2TY) if your interview is at the Main Hospital Site, which is a five-minute walk from Woodside. New starters to the NHS will start at the bottom of the advertised salary band.
