Cardiac Rehabilitation Physiotherapist

Band 6

22.5 hours per week

Health Services at Wolves, Warrington

Halton Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit, Halton

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Warrington and Halton Hospital Foundation Trust, for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation Team.

The post holder will be required to work 22.5 hours a week over 3 days to include Tuesday/ Wednesday/ and Thursday as the service requires. The post holder is also required to work on both Warrington and Halton sites and will work within a multidisciplinary team on each site.

The post holder will support other community health care professionals, to ensure that patients receive optimal care in keeping with evidence based practice and ensure that patients and carers receive appropriate treatment, and support.

The role will include assisting with assessments, delivery, education and support for patients with cardiac conditions such as IHD and heart failure. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in service development in a newly integrated cardiac rehabilitation team. Applicants must have experience working as a band 6 and show an interest in working in this area.

The post holder will be required to work within the Warrington Cardiac Rehabilitation Team based at Health Services at Wolves, and the Halton Cardiac Rehabilitation Team based at Halton Hospital.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
