Part time x1 (0.6 WTE), 22.5 hours per week, flexible to meet the needs of the service

The Central Locality Adult Mental Health Service within Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Band 6, Community Mental Health Nurse to join their Team.

The Team provides support to individuals who are experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems, often leading to multiple and complex needs. Care and support is offered in in line with the CPA approach and delivered in service-user’s homes or other community settings.

Applicants must demonstrate a flexible approach, evolving around the needs of service users, their families and significant others. The role involves working as a team member, with the responsibility of a caseload across traditional boundaries of Adult and the voluntary sector services. The service ethos is focused on recovery and social inclusion and therefore offers successful applicants an exciting and demanding opportunity to improve people’s lives.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent team working skills, who is keen to develop their knowledge and skills in this area. You should be a competent and motivated practitioner with appropriate demonstrable experience. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing assessment and therapeutic intervention in the community
