We are currently looking for 2 full and 1 part time Community Psychiatric Nurses to join us at Charnwood CMHT (Adult)

We want to hear from motivated and caring mental health nurses who feel as strongly as we do about our Trust values of Compassion, Respect, Trust and Integrity. Charnwood CMHT based at Loughborough Hospital is looking to recruit CPN’s to provide high quality care for our service users

You will be an integral part of a team which at present is made up of 2 x Band 7 RMN,7 x Band 6 RMN's, 1 x Band 6 OT and 2 x Band 3 HCSWs, 1x clinical psychologist and 1 x PSW

You would need to demonstrate flexibility and a commitment to high standards of patient care. You should also demonstrate good assessment, risk assessment and communications skills and have the ability to work both alone and as part of a team.

We are a recognised learning Placement area and support both Nursing and Medical Students.

We have a strong commitment to supervision, training and regular appraisal, from which you will benefit.

We believe all our staff can develop leadership qualities and if you can demonstrate yours, there will be opportunities to nurture and develop them.

It’s an exciting time to join LPT as we are at the start of a five-year transformation journey to ensure we provide excellent services for patients with mental ill health and support people towards recovery and resilience. It’s a challenging and fulfilling environment with multi-disciplinary teamwork at its core.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, rosters are set in advance at a team level and you will be joining an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date. We will consider requests to vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.
