Salary:

The NHS is changing. More emphasis on community-based care means there’s never been a better time to join us.

The CQC has rated us ‘outstanding’ and says that our colleagues feel supported, valued and respected, with high levels of staff and patient satisfaction.

Our vision is to deliver excellent local services which improve the health of our communities. To do this we need outstanding people who share our values (CARE). CARE stands for:

  • Compassionate
  • Aspirational
  • Responsive
  • Excellent

KCHFT is a great place to work - but don’t just take our word for it. In our most recent report the CQC rated us as ‘outstanding’

We are the only major NHS provider in the South East to be rated as ‘outstanding’ and one of only three community providers in the UK to have the highest rating; so why not join us?

Have you recently qualified as a Band 4 Nursing Associate? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our supportive The Ridge community nursing team based at The Glebe Medical Centre, Harrietsham.

We provide nursing care for patients in their own homes, to prevent admission to hospital where possible, and to support patients to manage their conditions as well as they can. We treat the whole person, not just the condition.

In this role you will be able to practice all the skills you learnt in your training, and be supported to continually enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

This is a community based post therefore full UK driving license and access to a car is essential.

Successful applicants are required to already be a qualified Nursing Associate.

We are following the current guidelines regarding interviewing so therefore will be conducting virtual interviews via Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp.

We welcome applications from all groups in the community and will accommodate needs and make adjustments wherever possible. We welcome applications from individuals from diverse backgrounds and those covered by the Equalities Act.

Successful applicants are required to have the qualification level specified in the person specification in order to carry out the job, however, we do welcome applicants from individuals wishing to further their knowledge and skills and to gain this recognised qualification, which we will support. So if you do not have the essential qualification for the role, this may not be an automatic barrier to you being offered an interview.

If you are successful at interview but do not have the essential qualification for the role, we will employ you as trainee and will support you to gain this qualification. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team, gaining valuable work experience and continuing to get paid. Once you receive the qualification you will automatically move into the position advertised

Interviews will be held on 8th and 9th December 2020 via Microsoft Teams.
