italk is the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service provided in partnership between Solent Mind and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

Salary Range: £19,201 - £20,680 Per Annum

We are looking for motivated and resilient individuals to join our Step 2 team at italk. In this role you will support the Step 2 Clinical Team.  Primarily the post holders will deliver treatments to patients through webinars, groups and cCBT, so excellent presentation skills, IT skills and a good level of written and spoken English are essential. You will also provide administrative support to the clinical team, which will enable you to gain a deeper understanding of the IAPT model and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.


This role presents an ideal opportunity for psychology graduates/ mental health workers or those who are wishing to build on existing experience in the mental health field to work in an IAPT service.

At present due to the COVID pandemic the majority of our team are working from home, however, we do also have staff working from our office bases. You will be based in one of 3 hubs across Hampshire: West (Eastleigh); East (Gosport); North (Basingstoke).

It is an expectation that Practitioners will facilitate weekly group treatments via webinars or face to face groups and work a minimum of 1-2 evenings per week.

You will need to be highly motivated and resilient to cope with the demands of working in this large, high volume service. Successful candidates will also need to have strong communication skills, professional telephone manner and excellent organisational skills.
