An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation dedicated to the service of children and families.Sheffield Children’s Hospital is one of four Children’s Trusts in the country and is a leading centre for development of integrated Children’s Services. You will work within Tier 4 CAMHS in a post recognised by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the vacancy is working within Ruby Lodge our specialist unit designed to assess 8 – 17 year olds who have a diagnosis of a moderate to severe learning disability with an additional mental health condition. Applications are invited from those eligible to apply for a Speciality Doctor post and have an interest or experience in children and young people with intellectual disabilities. There are excellent opportunities for teaching, research and audit. Leadership development will be facilitated for interested candidates.’

If a DBS check is required for the post you are applying for any offer of employment will be provisional on a satisfactory DBS check being obtained.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£45). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
