Stewart House, Narborough – Adult Mental Health – Rehabilitation Services

Calling on all organised, reliable and motivated Mental Health & Learning Disability Nurses both newly qualified and experienced to join our team. You should also be able to demonstrate an attitude that respects and values others, encouraging choice, collaboration, engagement and involvement from the patients and carers who use our services

Stewart House is a 30 bedded rehabilitation Service which cares for people with severe and complex Mental Health problems, to gain or regain the confidence and skills in everyday activities which will enable them to fulfil their potential for recovery and independence.

People wishing to join the team at Stewart House should be motivated to work in a service that offers involvement and empowerment for patients who are on pathway to recovery.

We are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to delivering the highest levels of patient care in a challenging but rewarding environment.

We are looking for the following attributes in our staff:

  • Be able to build effective therapeutic relationships quickly with patients.

  • To build excellent relationships with other services and ensure effective admission and discharge plans.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, rosters are set in advance at a team level and you will be joining an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date. We will consider requests to vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

To make the most of your application, we may consider successful applicants for vacancies for the same post in different locations where this is appropriate and meets our mutual requirements.

For all substantive roles the appointment of every new member of staff (excluding medical and dental staff) to a post is subject to a 6 month probationary period, details of which are in our Probation Policy.
