  • Medium secure services on the St Bernard’s Hospital site in Ealing
  • Services for people with complex and severe personality disorder at the Cassel Hospital in Richmond
  • High secure services at Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire

The Vocational Recovery Services of West London NHS operates across 3 pathways, Job Retention, Work Experience and IPS.
We are recruiting to the post (s) of IPS Employment Specialist in a newly expanded service in West London NHS.

You will deliver IPS in the Early Intervention Services (EIS) or Recovery Team, working with a caseload of service users in the borough of Ealing or Hounslow who want to find paid employment. You will help to plan and problem solve employment issues within the IPS fidelity framework.

As an employment specialist in the team, you will work alongside experienced clinicians who will rely on you to create employment options by networking with local employers, Jobcentre Plus and other organisations to help find paid work job opportunities for our service users.

The team of Employment Specialists in West London will deliver a high fidelity IPS service. You’ll need to be assertive and adaptable, with a positive attitude about employment for all and excellent networking and interpersonal skills.

The ability to travel in a timely manner around the borough of Ealing and surrounding areas is also essential. Training in the IPS framework will be provided, but prior knowledge of this approach would be an advantage

Flu vaccination – what we expect from our staff

At West London we look after patients who are vulnerable. Each year, seasonal flu affects thousands of people in the UK. Occurring mainly in winter, it is an infectious respiratory disease capable of producing symptoms ranging from those similar to the common cold, through to the very severe or even fatal disease.

The wellbeing of our staff and patients is of the utmost importance to us, and it is the expectation of the Trust that all patient-facing staff have an annual flu vaccination, provided free of charge by the Trust

All staff identified as at-risk and who meet the requirements of the post will be prioritised accordingly.

We offer Relocation packages for some positions (including Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses) - a relocation allowance of up to £8000 is offered for those who meet a required criteria.

Registered Nurses are required to produce their current NMC Revalidation documents/Portfolio at the assessment centre for verification, unless you are a newly qualified nurse from University.
